OMG !!

Not good, hope you get it sorted how you want, ie payout / repair.

Should be written off IMHO and then crushed !! Oh after the wheels have gone to Tango

Its only a car fella, don't get hung up on it. You seem to have the right attitude.

Just be careful on the wet.

Bad luck

Not sure how your insurance is that much - i've crashed 2 cars within the 5yr period and have no ncb and Tesco quoted 4100 (I'm just gone 23)..

This is my first post.

Unlucky with the S, being as it's so new, I'd have thought they'd repair that. If your insurance company don't, as someone else said, I bet someone will.

I've had mine 3 weeks, done about 750 miles, been taking it steady especially with all the rain we've had recently. However I crashed mine into a barrier at about 40mph after coming off a roundabout on Sunday night. Waiting to see if mine will be written off or repaired, damage to most of the body panels as it spun around, but the main structure seems ok. Apparently an Elise did the same thing three hours earlier at the same point on the road I crashed (M181, just coming of the roundabout with the A18 near Shorpe).

Was there a service station nearby? Classic diesel spillage stuff? Or trying a bit too hard?

Where's the best place to learn RWD stuff?

As Nick says, the whip from the ARB takes a fair bit of getting used to, and I still dont trust it! In the wet I just dont even bother anymore. Had a couple of straight line moments on a dual carriageway recently, where it just started fishtailing. Best to loosen the grip I find, but tricky when there's a car right next to you and the back ends whipping around!

I would like to learn a bit more about the car in the wet, which is easily done in a big open space, but no way on the road.

Losing it in a 4wd is also quite scary too - its not invincible!
