I rarely have the roof up!

The ladette was in a No Va - she probably was requesting a ride in the S2000 and offering a quid pro quo inducement, in not so many words.

Had the roof down for the first time today due to the H/T being on for the past few months. Got 400 metres down the road from home and had two builders giving me the w@nker sign as I drove past them!! I honestly laughed out loud. Idiots!

Ill have my roof down as and when i want! On the other hand, got a thumbs up from a Caterham driver with their roof down

Too right do what you want, it's YOUR car, for YOUR enjoyment.

I had my roof down yesterday in the sun, just was greated with more smiles from passees by. A bitch in a VW beatle covertable mouthing swear words, just struck me as jelousy. When you smile and say thankyou back they seem to have no retourt :-)

Some pikey at a bus stop once threw 2p at me while stopped at traffic lights. It missed and landed in the passenger seat, as the lights changed I threw it back and shouted 'Think you need it more than I do'.

A good comeback is always satisfying

I think the red mist would have decended at that point for me and said pikey would be visiting A&E to have the coin removed from his eye.

I've never had any abuse I can recall, wonder why?

Its a feature that comes with all convertibles these days..... when I had the S it only happened a few times (but outweighed by far more positive comments)..... then I went to a Boxster S which (surprise surprise) attracted a bit more abuse but less than I expected...... I'm now in a new M3 convertible which I expected daily comments about my willingness to spread my seed but after more than a year I've only had one comment...... from a fat woman walking her dog the first sunny day of the year (so I had the roof down).... "show off" she said to which the best I could come up with was "Fat dog walking woman!"

I don't tend to get abuse when I have the roof down.

And the roof is down a LOT! As has been said, nothing like being all wrapped up on a cold sunny day with the roof down.
