abs sensors

Hello and welcome.
To check ABS is working.
Find a nice emptry stretch of road. Accelerate to 60.
Slam on the anchors hard.
You will feel ABS kick in.
If you do need a new unit - I would suggest a breakers yard ( at least one on here ) - much cheaper than Honda.

If the ABS light is on then it's not working.
Most likely to be one of the sensors on the hubs, i had this problem after my geo was done, alot of fecking about and a new sensor later the problem was sorted.
I know of at least 4 members who have had failed ABS sensors, i would be surprised if you need a new ABS control unit but you never know.

Get hold of the workshop manual and test each one
