A sensor fault on one wheel will trip the ABS at the slightest hint of brake pressure.

I find that hard to believe. I mean yes it could, but it's infinitely more likely a sensor will fail in a way that the ABS unit will know is a failure and put the fault light on.

First noticed it whilst pulling up outside the house at about 20mph, braked over a manhole and it went nuts. New wheel sensor fitted, job done.
It was intermitent and the ABS light did come on occasionally but I only noticed this after the odd ABS incident. Used to reset itself after a while of driving with no error so an intermittent sensor fault. I dont know if this reset is an Audi thing, or generally the same on other marques.

I spent 2 hours rewiring my amp the other day to run the power wire down the transmission tunnel, double the earth wire thickness and make it all look pretty
Interference has been reduced, but it's still there
