Default About to service my car

So I have read extensively on this and its time for my cars 90K service.

Got 5L of Castrol Edge 5w40.

Bought a oil filter but I fear it may be the wrong one. Its manufactured by Blueprint and is fair small compared to the blue OEM Honda one on the car at the moment.

Would it be ok to use the Blueprint or should I do as I think I should and get the original Honda one ?

You need 5.5l of oil for a service, so get some more.

Lots of horror stories about non-OEM filters - have a search.

You need more, and will continue to need more (check your oil every two weeks )

OEM filters are the only way to go...order from your local dealer (and sump washer)

Part number: 15400-PCX-004

Don't forget to tighten it up with a filter wrench (available from Hellfrauds) in accordance with the instructions on the filter...otherwise your engine might spontaneously combust

Mine has a smaller filter this time around, I can't remember the make, I think I got it from opies. Absolutly no problems so far, If you've put it on already and want to swap it, it's above the sump level so can be changed without draining the oil and will need a wrench to tighten it.
I also recall a thread with somone useing a jubile clip and meccano (blue peter style) to make a stop so it can't unwind.

I will change the filter over. WOnt feel comfortable with the Blueprint one.

In regards to oil, in 2 months of ownership and doing 200 miles a week I havent ever noticed the oil levels dip ?

Normal ?

Loads of factors, how hard you drive, how many short journeys, what oil/grade you use, not all older S2000 drink oil, I guess you are one of the lucky ones, but do check it every week and keep it topped to the top "X" (100ml per X) if it gets low first symptom is misfire in VTEC.
