If you're buying in a rush...

Make sure the tyres are as required (look in the tech faq again) this car is really sensitive to tyres, tyre pressures, and suspension alignment.

And read through the tech faq before you do anything else.

I'll be happy to advise on price, as I'm sure everyone else will

One of the factory options is having the roof up or the roof down.

best option by far

Personally, I'd look at Euro parallel import private sale rather than a JDM. Less hassle to insure, re-sell, buy an extended warranty, etc There are a few JDM owners on the forum, and I can't recall any significant problems. I vaguely recall that recently a JDM owner had to pay twice as much for a spare part than he'd have paid for the Honda UK car part.

One more thing before I take the FAQ home to read.

Some cars are advertised with half leather interior. Are these japanese or euro imports? What is the other half? Alcantara or material?

Do all UK cars have full leather?

Thanks again all,

MaKS

Yep, half leather will be a Jap import - I think the other half is cloth. Euro imports are all leather, like UK cars.

MaKS,

Pretty sure it's in the FAQ but if you're worried about recall work having been done, get the chassis number of any car you're considering and give Honda UK a ring (number is on their website www.honda.co.uk).

They'll be able to tell you what recall work has been done.

Si
