Ahh the old surge problems, I know all about them. My MegaBird (Blackbird engined Westfield) dropped a rod on the 3rd Piston due to this very problem.

Will a raceline sump do the trick or is a dry sump needed (expensive)?? How do the Atom 300s avoid the problems??

PJL's track car had an accusump I guess this is the same as a raceline
Ie a temporary accumulator?

Hmm...accusump, my 'Bird had an accusump and still let go, not a very reliable solution in my experience.

Raceline do a range of baffled sumps for Ford engines, the wet sumps was fine on my 200bhp westfield, and only about
