A4 Cabriolet.............wtf??
on Friday outside the office was an A4 Cabriolet.......nothing unusual I guess........I walked behind it and it sounded fecking awful.....like a taxi.........
anyways according to the Clarkson supplement in the times Audi have stuck a ing diesel engine in the A4 cab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what kind of person..........buys a convertible and wants to hear a diesel exhaust note FFS?.....surely a large part of the appeal of a convertible is the extra aural dimension you gain with the roof off

I wouldn't knock it.
After all, one of the reasons we chose the S over other sporstcars is because we like the "fresh air facility".
If you want to drive a convertible, but not a sportscar, the diesel makes a lot of sense. The fuel consumption of most droptops isn't that great, so if you pay for your own fuel and want a cabriolet, but not a sportscar, sounds like a good car to me.

No reason not to have a deisel, but you can get really quiet refined sounding ones, surely that wasn't beyond them?
