9k service in West Yorkshire & oil
Hi,
I am coming up to my 9k service and was looking for recommendations for Dealers who provide a decent service. I got mine at Dixons in Horsforth.
Also, if I don't provide my own oil will they put in the 10W 30 or will they use the standard stuff If I should buy it what should I get and where from.
Still looking for my first spot on the 'spotted' thread after 8.5k of daily use so hurry up
Cheers
Arbuckle

If you don't supply your own oil, you'll probably get 10w40 or 5w30.
I use Dixon Honda in Bradford. They don't see a lot of S2000's but they do a decent job. Just had my 45k service last Saturday, including optional gearbox oil change (and I had the diff oil changed as well.). 9k's just an checkover and oil change, so I wouldn't worry too much about having it done at any dealer. Just check the oil level and the oil filler cap's tight before driving off. If you do go to Dixon in Bradford, speak to Craig the service manager, and mention you know Mr Marshall - both myself and my car are well known to them

I use Dixon Honda in Armley, although you will need to provide your own oil if you want 0W-30. I have had no problems to date with them and I get 15% discount with my Honda Revolutions discount

I used Robert Bowetts in Osset, because they use Mobil 1 as standard. No complaints. I was going to use Dixons in Armley, until I discovered that you have to supply your own Mobil 1 if that's what you want.
