8 weeks old and new clutch ordered!
Yes, that's right! After just eight weeks of happy motoring I was informed by my Honda dealership that they have ordered me a new clutch
I described the rattle and relationship to the clutch bearing being a possible cause, fortunately I was lucky that when the mechanic tested it the noise was quite apparent (usually it goes away when you actually want to hear it).
He said either clutch bearings (as suggested on the board) or clutch bearing cover is distorted (or something), either way he said it would be quicker to just order a new clutch.
I am going to assume this is a big job, does he really need to know the S2000 inside out? (he had to be prompted for the clutch bearing possibility )
It would be unfair to blame anyone for this problem without proof but suffice to say that I have a pretty good idea who caused this fault in the first place, if anyone is at all interested in the culprits then PM me (you may be shocked).
Thx for reading

Ah jeez Often, I'm sorry to hear your new motor is under the knife already
You don't think it was the alarm people do you (racking brain to think who may have driven Often's motor...)??

I have replied to all PM requests.
Cheered myself up though by cleaning the car once back from the dealership. Just need to get a digital camera now.
I found the steering a little sluggish today, although it was while driving out of the go-karting carpark after some serious endurance racing.
