Yes the spark plugs are on the list for the 54k service.
Brake pads is a good idea - they may even tell you your discs are getting worn.
Ask them to make sure they grease your hood seals.
I think mine came in around

Regarding spark plugs, I have recently had the spark plug recall done and was given a sticker to put on my service book. The spark plugs are Denso Iridium spark plugs, details on the sticker are:
NGK: PFR7G-11S
DENSO: PK22PR-L11S

Not exactly sure of a fullproof way to check.
