I've had J's 4.77 in the car and Rick's 4.56 final as well. I would definitely recommend gears as a really good cost efficient modification for the car.

I've run 4.1 stock final and diff on tracks. Using the 4.77 or the 4.56 is no comparison. It makes the S a completely different car. I suppose the Spoon LSD or the ATS Carbon 2way also make a difference but the acceleration is unreal in them. In the right rev ranges, the S exits the corner like a scalded cat.

It really depends what you use it for. I use the 4.77 and Spoon LSD for my track days whilst the 4.56 and Carbon LSD is my daily driver.

The track you frequent is important in final drive selection(ie, long straights or tight twisty corners)

@ Clanger did the CTG Torqline Carbon Fibre Prop Shaft make a big difference in drivetrain power loss?? i hear that most stock s2k's put down 195ish bhp to the rear wheels.

I'm going to have a look through the rolling road sheets I have a I did all those mods. I do believe it allowed for more bhp to the wheels. I can't remember the exact figures.

The feel of the car is much more responsive. After I did the carbon propshaft, the car was a lot more responsive on the throttle ( i suppose its a lighter drive train).

I thought about it, but I suspect it will be a busy weekend and I don't want to spend that sort of money to end up driving like a spacktard around the Ring when its busy.
in the 3 visits I made last year.. Easter was the "least" busy... other ones were end July and mid September..

Easter is also good because there are 4 driving days over the weekend..

Hi

Had lots of interest and swap offers but never managed to seal a deal, decided to just keep it now i think, so that means more power and more mods

So how much for the gears then?

You still have yours as well do you?

Actually I cannot any gears for the moment as the dealer doesn't answer my eMails anymore...don't know what is wrong with them..
