Sure as hell isn't my definition of pummelled........
Unsurprisingly, the 3L V6 has better pull above about 80mph........I thought it was closely matched.

I think if the Z had been in front from the start, the difference would have been even worse!
I saw a lap with old vs new Z and the new one managed quite a difference, and I think it was just from an increased redline.
Still would never have one - ugly as sin.

Meh. There is as many video's of S's pulling that kind of margin on a 350Z. I've owned a 350Z, and It's only marginally quicker above 80 (280bhp model). The PWR are similar, and the S benefits from better gearing. Round the twisties I'd be confident I could stay well ahead of a 280bhp Z. The new 310bhp one is probably quicker in a straight line, but will still be the same bloater in the twisties.
