I had a traditional 30 minute accompanied test drive in the 350Z on Friday after failing to blag a 24hr test. It seemed plenty quick in a straight line but the route I was asked to follow only involved dual carriageway and two roundabouts so I have no idea about cornering ability!.
This is the first car in the last two years that I haven't been able to blag for at least a 24hr test...... so I was wondering..... have any of you managed to get an extended 350Z test drive and if so who did you deal with at Nissan as I'd like to give it a proper test
The 350Z and RX-8 are the only two contenders that could stop me from going for another S2000..... and I have to say that jumping back into my S after the 350Z left me feeling that the 350 fell short in several areas (mainly that it had a roof and didn't sound that good compared to airbox off!).

The 350Z drop top is as common as muck over here, you know, pretty much like the boxster is in the UK.
Have to say it looks way too lardy for my taste. Also looked at one at the Sydney motoshow last year and had to laugh at the sticker on the inside of the boot lid .... step by step instructions on how to get a set of golf clubs in!!!

Looks okay from the front and side, but the back looks far too American for my liking (if you know what I mean). The inside also looks okay apart from the black centre inserts. What are they made of? Looks like old potatoe sacks from the picures
