I'm only about 1500 miles away fom the 27k service. I'll be calling into the dealer and speaking to the service manager before I book the car in, and making sure he knows that I know what is supposed to be done. I will also be marking stuff so that I can tell if the work has been done. It's a poor state of affairs but i just don't trust any of them.

Just to set the record straight.
Now seen the original job sheet.
Diff oil was changed...just didn't get across to my paperwork. So I'm couple of pounds to the good.
