Could someone please advise when the valve clearance is scheduled on a 2009?

Fair enough but at it's 3 year service my car will have done circa 12k, is it worth doing the clearances.?

Does it sound tappity? If so, then yes.

It's 3years or 27k, which ever comes first, and valve clearance's can reduce as well as enlarge, which you won't hear tapping, tight clearances cause an increase in valve overlap and can lead to a loss in power, poor idle etc.
if you leave them then it's 6 years before there checked, and if you sell the next owner will assume they have being done,and rack it up to 54k
