Not at all. I came back to the S after 4 years away from it.

I still think it has a lot over some other cars in the price range. Reliability for one!!

Ah well, it had to end soon...they've finally gone with an electronic throttle. Any chance they can avoid the 'lag' that plagues most other manufacturers?!?

It was introduced with the 2006 model year so there are already cars out there with it.

MikeyK or the guy who recently took delivery of his new Laguna Blue (can't remember his name! ) should be able to comment on the Drive By Wire.

(In fact, I know Mike has posted about it in the past - but don't recall what his verdict was....)
