Default 2007 S2000 changes

2007 Honda S2000 Summary

August 28, 2006 -- Torrance, Calif. -- The S2000 received significant enhancements for 2006 with the addition of electronic Drive-by-Wire throttle control and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA). Widely considered the quintessential roadster-style sports car and performance icon for the Honda brand, the S2000 combines uncompromising racetrack ready performance with everyday usability.

No hardware changes

Seems only some paint scheme changes (reduction in range available)

Probable therefore that European 2007 model year changes will be this minimal aswell.

I know what Jamie is saying (and his use of the smily )

....and he will know really....

That this 8 yo engine is a sodding good lump.

It truly is amazing that it is still up there with the pack.

Although I do love the new 997, it did make me laugh that Porsche went back to the 993 for teh design.

What's the worry about the S, I am sure we will see a completely new car in 08/09.

That is the US S2000

I wonder if we'll see 2.2 in 07?

I just cannot imagine how great a 'new S' will look.

I don`t think my eyes are ready for it. Let's face it, the 'old S' was amazing when released. I longed for one when the design was displayed.

I seriously think I will do a dirtywee™ when I see the new one. Even if I am at work. Remember the spontaneous stiffies you used to get in the 4th year juniors? Cripes, they were terrible.

Colin,

Are you going to stick with your 'an Automotive Love Affair' phrase then when the new one comes out ?

The love affair will always be with the S

The new S maybe a bit on the side..... I reckon it will be 'An automotive affair'
