Has anyone put a 2004 Mugen exhaust on a pre 2004? from the search it seems the hangers need bending.. but is that all it needs?

can anyone tell me what they had to do and have any pictures of the final result?

Hi Si, I would stick with the AP1 Mugen. Shame I couldnt have left it on for you! Sounds great.

IIRC the bumper is different on the 04 to allow the oval pipes to sit nicely.

Mmm does look nice.

But I hear it's a lot louder than the AP1?

I don't know if it is louder than a AP1 but I think it is just right. The key for me is no drone but I am also running it with a decat.

One other thing to think about is I think it would sell easier than a AP1 if you ever wanted to part out the car.

Its just the "right" volume imo.

I believed its 92-93dbs.

It depends what comes up secondhand really. I'd like a bit more exhaust note, but not loud..
