18" wheels, how do they affect the handling

Well, the people that have had 18" wheels say that they don't affect the handling at all.
You will obviously have 'SOME' negative affect due to the larger weight/increased gyroscopic forces at work, but unless you have a stopwatch going constantly, I think you'll be fine

The questions I would want answered;
With the S2000 being quite light, especially at the back, does an 18" wheel with tyres that have a thinner sidewall make the car more snappy at the limits of grip and will it make it more of a handful in anything but bone dry conditions because of this?
Also because 18" wheels and tyres weigh more, will it also affect the way the car rides, handles and brakes due to an increase in unsprung mass?
Logically from there, are you only going to notice this in a track situation, or would you notice it in general day to day driving bearing in mind Pip doesn't drive like a Ricer with a deathwish?
That's my two cents, i don't know the S2000 well enough to answer what I know are valid questions.

I found no real world difference in performance when i went back to 17" wheels. Infact on track i actually prefered the feel of the 18's as the smaller tyre sidewall didnt seem to flex as much. That said it is a little smoother for day to day driving on the 17's due to the increased profile.
