You want to get a bit of polish on that car of yours Hoggy Boy. Looking quite dull I thought.

You seem to have put loads on the ground though.

18x7.5" for the front (+48 offset) & 18x8.5" for the rear (+50 offset)???

what would be the recommended tire sized for this setup?

its the same for the ap1 and ap2 correct?

225/40/r18 Front
255/35/r18 Rear

Or you could go 215 & 245

Had the 225/255 on both my sets of 18's
That rear offset is a little low!

Isnt a 9" Tyre on the back a bit much? Id love to go for 17" CE28ns but the width worries me a bit, particular if you want to drop it ever so slightly

The trick is the offset.
You need to consider the width and the offset together.

Details of my setup that will be 25mm lower with no rubbing

17" Volks Gunmetal CE28N's (front-17x7.5 +50 offset, rear-17x9.0 +63 offset)
Goodyear GSD3 (front-225/45ZR17, rear-255/40ZR17)

The 18" CE28N's I had were the same width with a lower rear offset and rubbing

But do you not find acceleration hindered with a 9" rear?

Nope - wheel/tyre weight might do this but that combination is lighter than the stock set up so unsprung weight is less.

Increasing the rolling diameter makes a difference to acceleration!
