Default 18" Wheel & Tyres

Looking at buying a set of 18" wheels for my S2000, what is the optimum wheel offset and tyre size that best suit the S for this size of wheel.

Also what offset can I get away with without upsetting the handling too much!!

Putting my 16's back on Sunday, my tyres have worn out on the back of my 18's so will use my new tyres on my 16's for a while until i get some cash together to get some new rubber .

Jamie is an EVO5 His are the same as mine;

Front 8x18 with 45mm offset
Rear 9x18 with 55mm offset

I have Yokohama AVS sports rather than the Goodyears!

Would have gone for OZ leggies but could not find a set in the right offset and apparently OZ are not making them in the S offset anymore so if U bust one you are screwed!

I think U saw them at the last Manchester meet!? Anyway pics in my gallery and more info in sig

Hey I see you use Meguirs NXT Tech Wax, is this good and what do you use to make the car shiny (ps21? )?

cheers

Sorry back to wheels now. There are a few of us with evo's now, I know some people moan they are heavy but they need to be to put up with our dodgy english roads !!!

NXT is great! wipe on a thin coat all over car after a wash (or any other prep like claybar, scratch cover!?) Leave 15 mins buff off with microfiber! I considered adding PS21 after but cannot be ar$ed with a load more time and it looks fantastics anyway.
