And yes, they are bloody expensive for me to bring into this country too from the Tirerack. But I have no choice as performance tyres of any caliber are not sold in this country. Thank the heavens we have no standards (other than DOT) for tyres so we can bring in anything that looks round and black and install them

I have driven an Integra with Toyo 888's on, too much road noise for every day use for me, but pretty damned good.
I know a few guys who thrash CRX's on a regular basis who swear by Goodyear Eagles, these are available in the right size, anyone tried them? Also, on mine, the RE050's on the front are 245/40/17, wouldn't going down to 215 be less grippy?

I'll put money on Bridgestone saying the RE11s aren't suitable for UK roads.
