16" Alloy wheel polish - winter wheels

Aye it's that initial traction thing that is worth it - you can still spin the wheels if and when you want but it's knowing you can move again when you need to that matters.

Just taken the car out for a quick spin and to book it into Honda Southampton for its 64k service. (incidentally, these guys do a good deal, I got it for £270 with my own oil and 10% discount)
WOW! These tyres are good! The rear is a little bit twitchy if you put a little bit too much on, but it is so controllable if you drive it sensibly. And if the rear does step out, ease off and it is back in line again, beautiful.
I even managed to get it up a 1 in 4 hill to park my car in reverse! Didn't like it very much and it did slip then, but it did it! Just have to turn the tyres very slowly and use the handbrake to control the diff.
These tyres are absolutely brilliant, best investment ever!

Well there's still not much snow here, an inch fell a few days ago and all it has done is melted a bit, refrozen, had a couple more mm to replace what melted, frozen again then melted a bit then refrozen.
What we now have is a 1cm thick coating of ICE on the drive and the road in either direction.
On the basis it would be rude to waste the opportunity, I felt duty bound to go and practice doughnuts in a more confined space. I can now pirouette on the drive and on the road without touching the kerb
I know there are people who have more snow than they can shake a shitty stick at but without wishing for the full 24" of the white stuff, a few more fresh inches ( no sniggering Foster) would be nice here.

I had a brainfart after taking those pictures and went back out to knock the snow out of the wheels before it froze haha
With your location I don't think you will have long to wait to play
