I am normally on 16s so not noticed a night and day difference in ride quality, but it is certainly smoother and not so bone shaking when you hit a pot hole. I think that is probably down to the side walls being softer.

And agreed with not pushing the tyres, you know that the car is more comfortable but I am still very aware that this car will bite hard!

Still trying for Kumho's but not paying £120+ more then event want for the same tyres,

And my RE50A's are getting closer and closer to 1.6MM by the day,

UF and I both got the Kumho tyres from Event, £300 fitted all round?

I would wait till they get more stock in, give them a ring and ask them how long?

They didn't show up on the website when I ordered mine but they were in stock over the phone when I rang, weird!

Yeh, see if they can give you an ETA. Event are normally very good so I am sure they will help you as far as possible!

Well just been on Event's site to check for other tyres,

They now dont cover my Postcode,

Brilliant

I am getting to the stage of needing tyres just to keep the car legal now,

Is there anything else i can get for the 16's?

Can i run 205/55 all round if needed?

I have been told about the Uniroyal Rainsport 2, Only place i can find with these in is kwik fit

And i still want a proper winter setup rather then just some good wet weather tyres,

Really not having a great time trying to get the car set for Winter,

Always ring them to confirm what is in stock - can't be more help than that i'm afraid.

Can you find somewhere near you where they do cover?

Just drive to any old car park and they'll do it there. Just a thought.

Toyo Snowprox S952 Winter Tyre

Can get these in the right size,

A lot more £ then the Kumho's,

Anyone used them or heard good reviews?
