Sneaking suspicion that would be counterproductive ....

On a more serious note it's for those conditions i installed a TC on my car
So you hit a big puddle on the motorway. What do you think TC is going to do?

I would suggest you might want to remove your speed from here, this site is frequented by the police

Someone needs to explain the physics of the rear overtaking the front when aquaplaning to me.....can't quite see how that works unless there is some reasonable power being pushed through the rears - which there isn't really if you are cruising on the motorway.

Is it related to the LSD and aquaplaning just one rear tyre? Then I guess I can see it........
In my case I believe cause was a mixture of:

-Adverse camber on the road, meaning that when aquaplaning, the car has a tendancy to slide in the direction of the camber

-The wheels not hitting the puddle at the same time, meaning the wheel that aquaplanes first creates resistance and causes the car to yaw.

Personally, having experienced aquaplaning at much, much less than 100mph, I think you have to be f***ing insane/ stupid to do that kind of speed on a wet motorway.

But that's just me.

That pic, and the fact you weren't doing more than 70mph on good tyres says it all.

"100mph in the rain on the m1, is this safe?"

and you need to ask this why ?

only takes a split second for something to go awry and muppets that drive like that to cause misery to thousands of other commuters whilst they wait for the cleanup to finish.
