Default 1000 mile service

Does the S200 need a service at 1000miles? i bought it new as an import and it didn't come with a service book.
Many Thanks

I don't care whether it 'needs' it or not. I'd do a change of engine oil due to the bedding in. It'll have smoothed off everything and the remains of the smoothing will be in the oil. But that's just me.

Defo no 1000 mile service.
Bad idea to change the oil before 9000 miles.
The oil on a new S contains additives which assist in the bedding in process. Also, I'm sure it says somewhere in the manual specifically to only use non-synthetics for top-ups before 9k.

Only for dodgy areas like deserts or high altitude or if you're tracking your car.
