Default 10 Years Old - What would you replace?

As my car is now 10 years old and is slowly resembling "Trigger's Broom (17 New Heads and 14 new Handles) I thought I might tap into the wisdom of the forum for suggestions as to what bits might now be a bit worn out and could do with replacing, particularly as my car gets used on trackdays.

Stuff I've had replaced outside of the service schedule:
Baffled Sump
Timing Chain and sprocket
Rear Calipers
Roof
Clutch
Cat
Respray
Coilovers
Hub nuts
Drop Link

Suspension bolts are all ok (thanks to Chris Franklin for that) so no need for suspension arms (I don't want to polybush anyway)

Stuff I'm thinking of doing:
Engine Mounts
Get drivers seat refurbished - anyone got any recommendations?
Starter motor - current one is a bit scratchy

Please add more to this list, thanks.

My first suggestion was doing the bushes until you said you didn't want to polybush it... reckon it's the one thing that'll really make it feel like a new car again. Why are you against it?

That long?

Dump the OEM drivers seat and replace it with a bucket seat.

I've had this one far too long

Possible record.

For LG, i'd say pipe and slippers

But on a serious note, bushes will be pretty worn with all your track driving. All the mounts are a good idea too.

i've read lots of reports of poor ride quality with bushes - if I were to do that, I'd be tempted to go with new suspension arms from the USA, although I'd need to calculate the difference in cost.

Too much hassle getting in and out see "pipe and slippers"

See above regarding ride comfort and getting in and out.

Keep em coming.

For the mounts would it just be 2 of 50810-S2A-003 (number 4 here): http://www.hondapartsnow.com/Page_Pr...ngine%20Mounts

Or am I looking at the diff mount as well?

Maybe share a ride in someones who's just done the bushings, before you rule it out completely?

You're more than welcome to try mine out

Ello buddy, long time no speak.

I think bushings would be what I'd do if I was you. When I had mine done it just felt a lot... tighter? I did the uprated ARB's and chassis braces at the same time and I will say it was firm, but I guess its hard to say what caused that. I guess you could 'dial down' the dampers for day to day driving to compensate.

You can get new gearbox and diff bushes too, so consider those with the engine ones. From what I'd read, there is decent improvement going for harder ones in all these areas... but obviously you could end up with a bit more vibration....

Good shout. Should be a service item.
