Sorry to everyone
I can't believe it but they have fcuked up and ordered my car in the wrong colour
they only had the brouchure yesterday and didn't know about the new colours
so they put silverstone down, i def told them the new silver at the time but it was
silverstone that was written on the order...
so I guess i now have an MY04 Silverstone GT
Guess I'll have to keep parking it next to Black cars

Why should you have a colour you don't want, get them to exchange it with another dealer. Lookers Nottingham are expecting Moon Rock in the next few weeks (demo car). To say they didn't know about the new colours, what a load of Bo***x

i think you should order another car, i know for a fact you can get one within 2 weeks if ordered today. A GT in fact. If you don't want the MR then it makes no difference and if you are happy with silverstone make the dealer pay for the mistake. Long time ago a car I ordered was supposed to be a saloon and they ordered a hatchback. I refused to take delivery and the dealer discounted the car by

Doh!!
I guess if you're desperate to take delivery (and I can certainly understand you feeling that way), you might be prepared to accept it. Otherwise, if you're prepared to wait a bit longer, I'd stand your ground and demand that they get the colour you ordered.

I've went to 2 dealers in Hampshire (Soton & Basingstoke) over the new year and it's appalling how little they knew about the 04...
The guy in Basingstoke didn't even know there were new colours on the way. He got out the order book and was very surprised when he looked at the new paint chart...

trouble is on the order sheet he did write silverstone, (as that's all the colours he knew) so maybe i should of checked that so i guess it's my own fault and i have no comeback ?

Got the new 04 Brochure yesterday at Lookers, and they told me they have a MR out the back for a customer at Derby. Had a look and its nice. They have ordered a MR Full Red for the show room and its expected around Feb also a customer has ordered the Lime Green expected March. They are going to ring me when they arrive. So if you want I can send an e-mail to you.
