on my 2007 vtec change is not brutal but i definitely feel stronger "turbo like" pull.
with AEM V2 CAI at wot it sounds freat at WOT.

don't underestimate ESP (sadly comes with DBW) - if you drive hard it's very handy to save both yourself and your S

Well, just got back from taking an 05 Civic Type R out for a test drive, and also a 56reg S2000.... and the CTR took my fancy more.

The S2k felt very slow under 5k rpm whereas the Type R didnt, and they both felt about the same at the top end! I couldnt even tell when Vtec had kicked in on the S2000

The salesman was an utter penis too, demonstrating the horrible noise Vtec makes when the engine is cold... I was appaled by the fact he was trying to rev to 9000rpm when the engine had literally been running for less than a minute :

if engine is cold VTEC will not work.
there supposed to be a built in protection that Honda knew about your stupid salesman.......
