I used an allen wrench and once it was set against the pin, tapped it with a small hammer to get the pin to move. Once the pin was out far enough, I pulled it out the rest of the way with needle nosed plyers.
Just make sure what ever you use is not too small.... Pin is hollow, so check on the outter side of the pin that whatever you are using can not fit inside the pin.
I just picked up the 2006 radio door. I think it matches the AP1 console better. Its more of a Gunmetal color. Like the trim around the shifter boot.

Matches trim around the dash and shifter much better than 04-05.

Yes guys i see what you mean, just phoned jeff at hardtopguy and he has'nt despatched my radio door yet so changed it to 06 door ,and it was the last one in stock (lucky barstool me) and it matches the color of my car better

06 radio door looks very nice....
Robbie, it really isnt very hard, those instructions are spot on and you just have to be a little bit brutal with those pins, 5 min job.
