Default '02 -> '04 radio cover

as the above. bought an '04 radio cover from hardguy.com and have removed the main radio facia cover but cant get the bloody pins out of the radio cover hinges... any ideas? have read all the threads saying use a coat hanger or nail etc but its a tight space and cant really get anything in there! plus they wont shift

any ideas people?

It is an absolute bitch!

I ended up folding a coat hanger and whacking it with a hammer!

Just try and find something fit for purpose - anything that will fit in the hole, even at an angle, then you can just give it a good tap with the hammer - took me about 45 mins all in.

Once you get the pins out pay very close attention to how the spring is mounted, you will need to replace exactly to get it to work - it's not rocket science if you don't but it will save you time.

thanks for the advice jimpom. tried everything that i could find... even had my mum attempting it lol...... will wait till when my dads about next week for some help off him i think. as i've just about given up!

all can say is good luck lol. will have another attempt later tonight as may have some thicker gauge gardening wire somewhere at home!

Think I used a watch screw driver and a hammer one tap in the right place was all that was needed but took me a while

If you buy an '04 S2000 it comes with the radio door already attached
