Default West Coast (of Scotland) Micro Meet

Saturday 26th of October. Meet somewhere along the Ardrossan/Saltcoats shorefront

We shall then proceed to drive around some of the local roads, drop into a few local cafes' and take a few photos.

Anyone have a preferred time?

I'm easy. (er...don't bother - I've heard it all before ).
I shall be there - any time, as long as I can get on the ferry for 6pm.

I have PM'ed a few of the guys living in Scotland to see if we can organize a more centrally based meet.

Anyone else?

I would like to attend but cant on that weekend. Another more Central meet would suit better too.

I f anyone is interested then Crail 1/4mile sprint is on on Sunday 20th.

Its usually good for laughing at the neds and also checking out some serious machinery. Yellow 1000bhp Skyline is brisk on the strip.

I shall be going along to watch. If anyone is in the area it would be good to chat S2000s and swap experiences.

Is Scotland really this devoid of S2's? I have not met anyone yet that has recognised the car for what it is*. A bunch of motor enthusiasts from Glasgow were pouring over the car yesterday with no idea what they were looking at. These people need educating!

Steven, are we meeting up with Ianb on Saturday on the mainland - I know you are coming to Arran on Friday but I'm thinking of taking teh car to Glasgow on Saturday to let the dealers give it a once-over.

G

* I realise that this is a 'plus', I'm not complaining!

Yes, Steven PMd me about meeting on the Saturday. As I think Steven is heading back south that day, we could meet in the morning and then you could head to the dealers in the afternoon?

Sounds okay to me. Perhaps we could meet up around the A77/A71 roundabout at Kilmarnock (if you are in Glasgow, it saves coming across to the coast). That way, Steven's already en-route for the A74.
???

Between PMs and Posts we're getting sorted. Steven, I have around 6 tubed posters for you to take - very little space required, although I'll give you some spares if you have the room.

I actually live a lot closer than that. I am really in Dalry which is only about 6 miles from Ardrossan so, if its only the 3 of us, I can meet you guys someplace in Ardrossan.
