No there hasn't and it's a rare track to come up for track days, doesn't happen very often

Thruxton are exceptionally limited on how often they can use the track IIRC.

I've done a driving experience day there, isn't a very interesting circuit, although I enjoyed my day (although nothing like a full track day).

What about either Castle Coombe or Goodwood, bookatrack have dates on both, although Goodwood is sessions.

Sometime later I fancy Goodwood (used to live down near there) although I hear it is a scary circuit to drive.

Edit: Reading what I've just posted it looks like I have caught "although"itus...

I did Castle Combe as my first ever track day earlier this year and it was great fun. However you go out in sessions as well, and you don't get as much track time. A good place to start for beginners

I'd love to do Thruxton again. Like John I did a driving experience day there myself. Hated the Ferrari 355, loved driving on track.

Could be tempted to do Castle Combe on the 12th also

I would not recommend Thruxton.
