Thanks all for doing that so promptly.
Just to let you I have been told that the beef will be med rare and the lamb is slow cooked so not pink. Let me know if an issue and you want to change.
I've locked the sheet now and sent to the pub - see you all tomorrow

Mud, lots of water, some more mud, plenty of sunshine.
A poignant pause to remember all those that had made a terrible sacrifice so that we could enjoy ourselves on days like these.
B****y arrogant cyclementalists, offset by the usual great company & good food!
Well done Andy, Carrie and Maryam for another terrific Autumn run.
See you all in a few weeks.
Gary & Sarah.

I really enjoyed today. Sorry you all now have to find some time to wash the cars ! I think we must have encountered every hazard you can think of. I agree with Gary, it was perfect that we had an opportunity to pay our respects to those that have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we have the freedom to do things like this. We were even blessed by the vicar as she came past
These days are not possible without you all. Thanks to everyone who had faith that the sun would eventually come out. Timing couldn't have been more perfect. and a particular mention to those that came down from the far flung corners of the Empire
Carrie, Jack (my nephew) and Maryam were stars in helping me get it all together.
Alan - please pass on our thanks to Surrey Uni for letting us use their facilities.
Would be great to see some pics. Especially if any of the "forest stage". (or was it the "water stage" ! ) Its not easy to see what was going on from up front, although I did enjoy the back markers on the turn to Fittleworth in my rear view mirrors
See you all again at XM

There really isn't much else I can add to the above really, other than to say a huge thanks to Andy, Maryam, jack and Carrie for sorting the arrangements etc. Also we need to leave a positive review on Trip Advisor for Hotel Carrie, excellent as usual
The tunnel was fun on the way home too; there were a couple of noisy gits in there with Chav exhausts and stupid intakes
Tired now, 235 miles today, all bar a few in convoy (Sam followed me on the way home too... Well worth it though. Great to drive with y'all

Thanks Andy, Maryam & Carrie,
Brilliant day in a lovely part of the country. It was great to catch up with everyone again.
Just back home in Nottingham - 475 miles in total over the weekend!
After a good wash and polish the car will now be put to bed for the winter.
See you all at the Christmas do
