Guys,
Sorry there's been such a delay with the DVD. I've had a real nightmare trying to sort out my extra pair of hard disks to take the footage, only to find out that one of the drives was stuffed anyway. Yesterday, in fact.
So I am going to find time very soon to re-master everything, and download the video to one of my 2 new blank 100Gb partitions, and mix it with the tracks I've found.
And then I need to swap my Canon R245 for a Canon R220 printer, that'll print onto the back of special DVDs.
This one is being planned properly, dudes!
The main downer is that there's very little incidental footage of people drinking, being Thomas-baited, or thoroughly enjoying themselves (except in their cars, of course), so it's going to be a bit like every other "car X around the ring in 8 minutes" google vid.
But I'll know better for next time - as well as how to switch off the ****ing night mode during the day (ruined quite a bit of nice footage, did that!).
Aside from all of that, I've had some really busy weekends at weddings, christenings, birthdays, golden anniversaries, etc.
Aren't long, hot summers a nightmare?
Give me -10degC atop Stob Dubh in December any day.
Of course, you're much less likely to spin off during long, hot summers...
