Without spoiling things, I understand that the yellow peril was due to roar again this weekend....
Have heard anything yet but fingers crossed for SBC!

Stephen - the long awaiting CD is in the post to you today - many apologies for me being so bloody slack!
Kobe - yes, not long now but too bloody soon as I've just smacked my car. : (
Parking accident - managed to swing the nose into my garage wall while reversing out. FFS. New wing and bumper please, Mr Insurance Company.
Not a happy bunny.

has there been any sign of a little yellow car running around the island yet?
Got it to start but it wouldn't run. It had been a long day so we left it and tried again later.
A mate mentioned that sometimes the cams are provided the wrong way round, so we took the cam covers off and yes, the inlet was in the exhaust side and exhaust cam in the inlet side.
Swapped them over and started the car but the timing was still miles out. Some OEM cams have a slot in the end to help with the timing. As these cams were machined from Ford blanks, which have these slots, and as the provider failed to give any details to the contrary we expected them to work. Silly us!
Anyway, we've now got the cam timing and should be having another go this week.

wow.. what did you hit, or how fast were you reversing??
after this story, I asked my wife to reverse the S2000 out of the garage today so I could check the clearances
