Ring schedule has been updated:

http://www.nuerburgring.de/events.10.0.html

It only shows Touristenfahrten days up to the end of May, so don't know for sure. But the weekend after Spa is the Rad un Run am Ring, which looks horribly like a cycling event and both on the GP circuit and the Nordschleife, so that's going to be a no go for Saturday and Sunday. Of course it might be open Wed, Thu and Fri, but probably not for the whole day.

The weekend before is the Truck GP on the GP circuit only. We were there at that time a couple of years ago, and the Nordschleife was fully open and unlike DTM weekend it wasn't too difficult to stay (I think the truck fans camp).

So the weekend before could be a better option for Ring time (I know Lovegroova can't make it ).

I can't do either before or after so it'll just be Spa for me and the Ring will have to wait for another day.

Highly unlikely we can do March so will book this for July. Hopefully the Ring will be open Wed/Thurs.

Can you use 2 cars on the trackday under 1 booking?

I guess you could, provided only one was on track at a time, but to do a "tag team" arrangement whereby you drive one car whilst the other cools down so you're on the track non-stop would be a bit out of order I guess.

Perhaps one car one day, and then the other for the 2nd day would be better.

In any event, talk to Jonny about it...

Oh god no, wouldn't be doing a tag team-might take a backup vehicle and would be nice to do a few laps in it.

Sorry Dave, I can't, I have to return my mate back to his Missus.

However, I've just looked into one way flights from Brussels to London and it might be viable...

Again, would Cologne airport be a better bet?

I dunno - probably equally out of your way. There's Eurostar from Brussels as well..
