Spa Francorchamps trackday

Bejesus
We are back at Spa after a burger and chips in the town.
Two much four star clogs the arteries lol.
That circuit sounds nuts, I got some great footage after standing up on the siganl box to see over the fence
We thought you had given up and left, didnt realise you went back to the ring.
Presumably it didn't reopen in a decent time then?
Just looking at the BaT pictures they left me with, truely top quality and a great momento.
Here's a few, look at the gradient down to Ea Rouge
Flat out?
Sod that!
If you get the entry right, clip the first left hard and keep hard over to the right up the hill until the green stuff it works.
I made it in alive at 115, but no more. Scary
Looking down to Eau Rouge from Raidillon.
F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso's description of the feeling of Eau Rouge:
"You come into the corner downhill, have a sudden change [of direction] at the bottom and then go very steep uphill. From the cockpit, you cannot see the exit and as you come over the crest, you don't know where you will land. It is a crucial corner for the timed lap, and also in the race, because you have a long uphill straight afterwards where you can lose a lot of time if you make a mistake. But it is also an important corner for the driver's feeling. It makes a special impression every lap, because you also have a compression in your body as you go through the bottom of the corner. It is very strange - but good fun as well."
Sighting lap - the driver in the Audi is Rowan Atkinson!
Other random stuff...

Ok here are my pics
Steve, myself and Exige chaps....
After arriving at Spa there was some snooping in the F1 pit garages. There was a GT race on at the weekend, and as per last year, the lazy buggers hadn't cleared out by the time we arrived
Here's the nice chap who handed me the keys to the GTR
