Awesome weekend, great to meet and have a good natter to a few of you and the location was perfect. A big thanks to Ian for letting me gate crash my car and leave it on the stand for the weekend.
I dont think the customer i was helping out had such a good weekend though. Every car he raced got damaged. Quick tally came to about 25-30K of damage and the nice paint job that i was proud of is now completely ruined.

Thanks to you and MBC, and Louis (not sure how to spell his name) from Honda. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days at the Classic! I agree it's a fantastic event.

Thanks again to Ian and Louis, a lot of work put in and under trying conditions with the weather up to Friday.
Didn't get to meet people, arrived early both days and wandered off watching the great racing and taking pics in the pits. Hence there was a GT100 abandoned on the end of the row near the roundabout!
Found a great place to watch, back row of the covered grandstand on the entry to the Loop, you could see the cars almost from the exit of Copse, through Maggots, Becketts and Chapel, then see the entry to Stowe, then from Farm all the way round the Loop and down to Brooklands. It was freezing up there yesterday though, with the wind! I was wearing three layers, and got some strange looks when I went down to ground level!
It's just too big to do it all in two days though!

Good to see people old and new, thanks to Ian and MBC also.
I am still hobbling about a bit but am healing up.
Definately up for this again next year, hopefully with better weather.
Pip is recovering after her kidnapping - she was most unhappy this morning when I picked her up....

Thanks should go to:
Louis and the Boys for getting us set up with an ace 'tent' and various knick knacks.....like the fridge, the bar, the telly, the Deck Chairs (all of which went back to the Honda lorry !!!)......great support from Honda for this fantastic event.
Ian for being organised with the shopping, food and BBQ
And to everyone who came and parked (or in some cases abandoned or got stuck) their car on the stand.....a few new faces which is great and some more familiar ones too.
Great to have the S800 come and join us for the Sunday.....boy did that attract some attention.
All in all a mighty fine weekend, with some mighty fine cars everywhere, great racing and company.
I didn't take photos.....I had more important Pimms drinking to do
P.S. pleased to hear Pip is back home safe and well after her wanderings
