I don't have another half. But I don't really have space for one anyway, so...

Same here - I've just removed the passenger seat and replaced it with a beer fridge - drink driving FTW

Just to let you all know that when a route is finalised, I am half expecting that this "mixed bunch of attendees" will probably want to do it at different speeds. For reasons that will become clearer later, I'm not going to push it; but if we feel it's right to do so, we can easily split into two groups (one fast, one not-so-fast) and just meet at certain landmarks.

I know the kind of reputation that previous Scots Meets have had

Graham can you PM me the route highlights, what I may try and do is meet you in the middle or at the end?

The time is a concern for me, I'd much prefer meeting there at 0900 or 1000 so we have good clear roads.

Can't do that, I'm afraid. I can't afford two nights accommodation and I have to collect the car in the morning.
