shame on you lower, you were the one that prompted me to get my brakes sorted out well before the day....for Donnington (as an old hand!) I plan on arriving with slick tyres and pads down to 1mm

ah, but i wasn't expecting them to crack like that or i would have bought some spare discs.

Ah well, could be worse. i could have been Paper Lawyer at Donington last time. Black flagged for noise, goes home to refit the cat, gets back to the track and still gets black flagged.

i'd have been really cheesed of with that!

And my cracked disks only cost me an hour or so

took me 30 mins to change mine when i got home. That's why i was annoyed that i didn't have the discs with me cos the loss of track time would have been minimal.

The hour that chilled lost included 30 mins running round on the scrounge for some discs

I paid Pete Findlay for his disks. I knew he had them, I just had to wait for him to get off track. And then I had to spend 10 minutes driving up and down the exit road to have some attempt of bedding them in Then cooling them down.
