Lovegroova, only watched the first lap of the first video but your lines are pretty good. Did you have instruction?
I did have instruction, and was lucky enough to have it at the start of the first session so benefitted for the whole day. I think instruction is invaluable, especially for the first time on a new track.
My lap times are a bit better in the 2nd video, which shows I was improving throughout the day.

I have to say I find the slightly angled camera annoying and frustrating. I'm constantly trying to look through the corner, but can't even see it for left handers!
I've never videod before so I thought I'd give it a try as having the windscreen frame in shot gives a bit more reference in terms of speed etc.
I think I'll stick to the forwards facing windscreen mount in future, rather than the passenger window mounting, although it may be possible to use that mounting position whilst facing the camera straight forwards.

Yeah, yeah, whatever! You know I caught you too easily so you gave up!
No brakes into the hairpin kind of suggests I was not pushing.
Hoping to see some of PJLs video when he came up behind me on another slow down lap (Lower was passenger and can back me up on that! ).
Anyway I knew he had the camera so went for it and managed to hold a nice powerslide right the way out of the corner. Should look good on video... but I bet it doesn't!

I want to see that Vid too. Without boosting Nick's ego too much he did manage to hang the tail out in a controlled way right the way round the corner and a good distance up the straight too.
As an end of the day gooning session it was great fun!
I won't mention the spin you had a bit later in the lap but then seeing as i didn't do my cold tyre spin trick at all it was only fair i was at least in your car when you span. At least no grass in the cockpit this time!

I bet PJL hadn't managed to get his camera working. He can drive that car, but he can't really work the camera
