Don't forget to check your oil level folks - I've just been surprised by the level on my dipstick. This time I put the oil cap back on as well after topping her up

Woo hoo! First to post after the day.
The weather held, there was a really good turn out. No major casualties, the worst being collection of kitty litter, vegetative products and slight cracking of brake disks. Great to see faces new and old, and Rockingham was a good track too. Very few stoppages, and those that happened were sorted quickly. And also I didn't come across anyone that didn't have a rear view mirror either.
Top work from Chris And Jayne from Center Gravity. Chris, you're a lifesaver. Hopefully the tyre data you gathered from me and others will help everyone else. My new geo eventually proved good on track, although I'll post more about that in my thread on that exact subject.
Overall
Dave (Dembo) I'll have to give you a proper ride at the ring.

Well I had a great time today.
I thought the track was a good one and will definitly be up for a return at some point.
Had some superb moments and as usual the S took the day on the chin without so much as a murmour.
Looking forward to seeing some photos and some of PJLs video (looks like he had one of me holding a nice slide on my warm down lap).
I have to say the wet grip facility was very difficult, but good fun all the same.
I hope everyone got back safely. Good to see you all and thanks to Rich for organasing again ( cue round of applause )

Too many slow corners, but I did get quite into it in the afternoon and stopped being a wimp and took the banking flat out. That fast chicane was loads of fun.
The wet grip thing was an experience. I could never quite do what I was meant to be doing, but I was getting good at losing it, doing a neat 360, then driving straight on. I must have learnt something at the 1st Lotus course.
My brakes are really spongey now. It wouldn't be a track day if you got to drive home with working brakes.
Only 4 weeks until the next one.
