Do as we say, not as we do
I've got new ferodos to fit on the front, but i might just finish them off and fit new ones on the day. My rears are touch and go but as i couldn't get new ferodos in time i've got an almost new set of oem rears to fit on the day if i need them My rear tyres are at about 3-4mm which is too low really for comfort, but they'll be ok.
Bit shambolic really. But at least i might have a nice solid brake pedal if my prototype fits.....

I've still not bedded in my ferodos. Might go out this evening and find a clear stretch of road.

Don't do track days on very worn S02s. I've tried it, it's not fun.
Why check that you've got pleanty of brake pads 4 weeks before the trackday? Check the day before.

My tyres were almost down to the indicators, front and back.
I was going to finish them off on the track and use my spare rears for the journey home. This is my normal approach.
However given the weather I decided to replace rubber all round.
The resultant change in grip and prgoressiveness is significant!

the check 4 weeks before is to give you time to order pads if you need them, get them fitted, bed them in and not get caught not being able to source rear pads.
