S2ki Trackday - Rockingham 18th September 2010
#263
DS2500's fitted and bedding in nicely and new race fluid all bled, can't wait as will be the first trackday where I expect to not have brake problems. Looks an awesome turnout, have never seen so many S2000's on a trackday before.

i picked up a cheap sparco helmet off ebay for £40. Cant wait to use it.
I've never really done a 'proper' trackday before, so i have no idea how strict they are about helmets, i just have a friend that likes to panic about these things, he passed it on to me

No problem there either, just pull over and indicate at the nearest opportunity. There is no overtaking on the corners allowed so just pull over at the next straight Nobody will bother if you get in the way for a couple of corners.

Loon, not much really. I normally trail brake for a few hundred meters at 15 mph, then do some gentle braking from building up speed, then rest the car. Then go and do some high speed braking to a standstill a few times.
