RE050as are perfectly fine for road and occasional track use on 16" wheels.

Longevity is down to driving style, mostly.

I have standard 16" wheels with re050as on and found them to be good on track and for everyday road use.

Bit concerned about noise with my J's Racing 63RS.

It used to be on PJLs S2000 before Bibbs had it and then I bought it off Bibbs. Anyone remember if he has done Rockingham with the Js Racing exhaust.

Also what is Rockingham like on the brakes? Ive done Donington and Combe in my S2000 and it was fine on both of those.

Thanks

Rockingham is hard on the brakes, certainly moreso than Donington, I've not done Combe so can't comment.

Certainly taking things relatively easy to begin with is a good idea. I'll be bringing along some spare pads and tools to change them.

I've not known anyone get black flagged at Rockingham for noise.

Rockingham is hard on brakes if you chose to use them hard.

Make sure you have plenty of meat on your pads and they have been bedded in properly.

Combe is a ****er on brakes, i'd say a bit worse than Rockingham.

Hi All,
I'm a new S2K owner, and have just booked for Rockingham (my first track day ever). There seem to be a good number of S2K's going and I look forward to meeting you all.
