Great day as always, I only ever really get one track day in a year, as much as I'd like to do more I just don't have time so it's nice to come to the S2ki BaT ones as folk are generally very well behaved and it's good fun.

Nice to meet everyone and thanks to Jonny and BaT.

My misfire is a sticky injector. The local garage have had it today, and they said it started working again when they gave it a tap. But they checked out the compression and head gasket (which sounds like the same test as compression) and gave my new engine a clean mechanical bill of health.

Deja vu for me as I had injector problems about 2 1/2 years ago. Come to think of it, that was after I was forced to put in some regular unleaded too.

Did you put your Spoon ones in the new engine, Dave?

Good question. I don't know whether the injectors would have come with the new engine or not.

Rich, still buzzing from the passenger lap - superb

I have been looking at Caymans on Pistonheads

What's the sump fix out of interest? Baffled one?
No worries - it was a lot of fun from behind the wheel!

The oil push back very rarely happens on any track, although a baffled sump or an increase in oil pressure erradicates it.

It was primarily caused by the two very long left hand corners on Rockingham, and that I was keeping the throttle pinned through a large proportion of them. It shouldn't happen at any other track, although if I'd done an extra cooling down lap it would have stopped it happening.

Cheers
