Stuart Faulds (good grumpy scots guy who helps with the BaTCats) will do stuff for a fee, and if it's just pads, you may be able to get help from people on the day.

Nick, i'd be happy to help. I'm sure lotus rear brakes aren't significantly different from any other car.

No Rich, they're standard cast iron Brembo jobs.

I'll be bringing a trolley jack, socket set and spanners anyway.

Thanks chaps. Much appreciated.

To be honest I rather get done before I leave... the discs could get a little warm on the journey up!

Hopefully will get some time to call the local Lotus specialist tomorrow and leave it with them whilst I am away.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Is there an obvious mistake when changing pads that would make them stick?

Note the new pads are mintex from elise parts.

Dont know the unit but does it require winding back?
Is is would home fully would be my only question.
Is the disk worn and so has a ridge that my be twisting the pads?

Are you stufffed?
If you want to come down to Bridgwater, I have a garage tools and coffee you are welcome to use.

Mark, got a direct email for Jonny?
I cancelled my tyre order for the S as I had a large bolt in one this week - hence two fitted locally today.

I did a Paypal I think, but didnt know the returns/refunds process etc.

Cheers,
Steve.
Hey up Steve, not got much web access atm, so not sure if you got Jonnys details. He normally answers his Bat mail pretty quick and his contact info is on their site.

Looks like i will be in the Evo now as the Lotus tryes are too far gone to even drive with, and needs new pads from Spa / Ring punishnent

Not long now chaps!
