If it rains, the S2000's will be taking it easy

Yes it is.

Need to get a new clutch in mine and a trackday booked, then that might keep Shaun quiet.

It's my first time there, so will be starting off slow and getting instruction as early as possible.

Instruction is very wise idea. well worth the money. Personally never done Oulton track only the drift courses.

Did Donny on my first time, really do like Donny and its closer to me, but everyone i talk to do say Oulton is one of the greats.

Hope you have a great time and remember it isnt a race go as fast as you feel comfortable, im sure the instructor will tell you this anyway.

if it rains i will be in the barrier - cut slicks aren't the best in the rain!

Chris had a nasty one at Druids in November, just when he was starting to push on a bit. It was damp in the morning IIRC, and just had dried out. However, some bithering idiot piddled oil on some tricky corner exits (probably one of the Caterhams, i'm sure one was puffing blue smoke). Great moment when an S14 spun in front of Barry (I was passengering) exiting the chicane going up the hill towards Druids, in the Accord Type R he had it all under control.

LG.... make sure you get a passenger in Andy's Top Secret Accord. Its mental quick!

Best track I have driven on, simply the best - shell oils corner and deer leap are so much fun in the S, alas I am working ... have fun

It's a policy that's served me well at all the other circuits I've been to (Anglesey, Donington, Cadwell, Goodwood, Rockingham, Spa & various airfields), so I'll be sticking with it I think

I saw that, so will be giving the circuit proper respect as always.
